Rohit is an Indian Australian actor, born in Pune and raised up in Ludhiana (Punjab), a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, India. His tryst with acting began with Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares institute in Chandigarh, India and then Abhinay School of Performing Arts in Sydney, Australia. Followed by extensive theatres in Perth, Australia where he starred in 'Short & Sweet' and 'Fringe World Festival' shows.
It’s been more than a decade that he has been in the magnetism of films and in the allure of theatres. A multi-lingual and experienced actor who has so far acted in many different languages (English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil and Bihari). He has a commanding presence on stage as well as onscreen and performs the roles with true meaning and emotional depth.
Being the 'lead actor' in two feature films and a prominent cameo in the third film, he has significantly appeared on Indian & Australian TV Serials, Online Commercials, Magazines, Newspapers and numerous other campaigns for major brands. He loves to be in front of the camera and in front of the audience. A roller coaster rides so far and he looks forward to more challenging rides.
He is also the Winner of the first-ever 'Mr. India Australia' Title, held in Sydney, Australia in 2014. His model looks which include the physical attributes of an athlete and his fine acting makes him an enthusiastic and rare combination in the commercial modelling and acting industry.
